The 5/8/77 Betty board came into circulation sometime around '87 or '88, along with all the other tapes found in Betty's foreclosed storage locker. I've always felt that the lasting appeal of that show comes not just from its quality, but also from how widely and quickly that tape circulated after hitting the trading scene.

was 5/9 part of that same cache, i did acquire those tapes in pretty excellent SBD quality sometime around 1990; good point though about those Betty's getting into circulation, and very interesting how quickly it circulated; 5/8 might not be everyone's cup-o-tea, but i think it's hard to disagree that it's definitely an excellent show, with some fantastic versions of songs
